HAVERFORDWEST COUNTY have been handed a baptism of fire on their return to the Dafabet Welsh Premier League as they open their campaign by welcoming reigning champions, The New Saints to The Bridge Meadow on Saturday August 22.
They then face two tricky away ties, first to Newtown, who are set to compete in the Europa League qualifying stage and then Gap Connah’s Quay, whose late surge at the end of last year saw them make the European play-off.
Fellow promoted side Llandudno will then make the long journey south ahead of a tricky tie away at Rhyl. The baptism will be complete, as in game week six they will face big spending Port Talbot Town on a Tuesday night under the Bridge Meadow lights.
