Ceredigion goes to the polls

Week-to-go-to-register-to-vote-Electoral-Commission-warningTHE POLLS have opened for the double election, where voters will today vote for their chosen party in the Welsh Assembly elections, as well as the new Police and Crime Commissioner.

Polling stations across the country opened at 7am, and will remain open until 10pm. If you have lost your poll card, you can still go to your designated polling station to cast your vote, however it is advised to bring proof of your identity.

If you are a postal voter, but did not cast your vote in time, you can do so today at the relevant station.

Votes will be counted overnight, and the winner will become apparent in the early hours of Friday morning, depending on recounts and other delays.
