TRESAITH BEACH is currently closed and being guarded by Dyfed-Powys Police officers after a suspected unexploded bomb was found this afternoon (Sep 9).
The beach, located between Llangrannog and Aberport in Cardigan Bay, has specially trained officers present at the scene.
The Twitter account for the Cardigan Neighbourhood Policing Team earlier warned the public to stay away from the area.
The Tweet said: “Tresaith beach closed due to possible unexploded shell being found. Please avoid the area for the time being.”
