IF YOU’RE heading to Swansea from Ceredigion this weekend (Oct 22-23) you will have to plan your journey a bit more carefully, as improvements to the line at Swansea train station means that no trains will be stopping at or departing from the station.
These improvements, which is being handled by Network Rail, will only have an impact on those who need to travel from and into Swansea station directly.
All of the other train services between west Wales and Cardiff will run as normal, being diverted around Swansea station.
Replacement buses will also be running between Port Talbot and Llanelli to Swansea.
A spokesperson for Arriva Trains Wales said: “A rail replacement bus service will be in operation during these upgrade works to connect customers into and out of Swansea so we are urging all customers affected to allow longer for their journey and check any ongoing connections.”
