DYFED-POWYS POLICE ‘require improvement’ in several areas according to reports released today (Dec 8) by watchdogs.
The reports were focused on how well police forces treat the general public, work lawfully and ethically, and how the workforce are looked after.
North Wales Police were also told improvements needed to be made.
Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) said that Dyfed-Powys Police:
- Needs to improve how it treats people with fairness and respect
- Needs to improve how it ensures its workforce behaves ethically and lawfully
- Needs to embed systems that ensure it treats its workforce with fairness and respect
