AS OF TODAY (Mar 27), Social Care services will be available in other offices in Ceredigion due to the changes at Minaeron, Aberaeron.
With the sale of Minaeron to Hywel Dda University Health Board near completion, the building will close to the public, with services currently based there relocated to other Ceredigion County Council buildings around the county.
Huw T Morgan, Strategic Director for Sustainable Communities and lead officer on smarter working said: “Service users can access a range of services online at www.ceredigion.gov.uk, by phone or drop in at Council offices across the county.”
Social Care services which were based in Minaeron will have moved to be based in Penmorfa, Aberaeron and Canolfan Rheidol, Aberystwyth. However, the contact numbers for these services remain the same. Service users requiring support should call 01545 574000 or 01545572616 for all other calls.
From today (Mar 27), those people wishing to apply for a Blue Badge can apply online via www.ceredigion.gov.uk, by telephone on 01545 900333, or request an application form at Canolfan Rheidol, Aberystwyth; Penmorfa, Aberaeron; County Hall, Aberaeron; Lampeter Library; or Cardigan Library.
The changes presents an opportunity to reconfigure spaces in all other office buildings to be more efficient and logical. This is part of a broader transformation to bring staff together, work more flexible and move towards a digital delivery.
