Narberth (95-3) beat Llechryd (93) by 7 wkts
DIVISION 2 leaders Narberth took little time to dispose of their closest league challengers at the Lewis Lloyd ground on Saturday (May 13), thanks again to opening batsman Richie Adams [47*].
Llechryd were rumbled out for 94 as teenage opening bowler Lou Davies took three wickets for 11 runs and his teenage counterpart Lewis Hough [3- 24].
The only batsman to show any resilience was year 10 student at Llandovery College, Thomas Davies; he stroked 37 invaluable runs in a disappointing 93ao.
The home side’s riposte saw skipper Howells [32*] join Adams in an unbroken third wicket stand and a winning score of 94 runs, which keeps his side on top of the division before tomorrow’s trip to Pill Parks to take on Llangwm.
