Man charged with six burglaries over four months

DYFED-POWYS POLICE has charged a man on suspicion of a series of burglaries over the course of four months.

Samuel Thomas Davies, aged 24, of no fixed address, was arrested in Aberystwyth on Wednesday, August 9 following a foot chase by officers.

He was arrested on suspicion of numerous commercial burglaries that have taken place in Hay on Wye, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Llanidloes and Newtown, as well as in other force areas.

He has been charged with six burglaries and appeared at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court today (Aug 11) where he was remanded to appear at Mold Crown Court on September 1.

Inspector Stuart Eckley said: “Thanks must go out to all officers and support staff from numerous departments who have been involved in this investigation.”
